LEILI Shows Bus Wiper Systems at the 5th Wenzhou Auto Parts Expo

Wenzhou, China — Zhejiang Leili Auto Parts Co., Ltd. (“LEILI”), a manufacturer of automotive windshield wiper systems and bus door locks since 1989, exhibited at the Wenzhou auto parts expo 2025 — the 5th China (Wenzhou) International Auto and Motorcycle Parts Expo — held from 4 to 6 September 2025 at the Wenzhou International Convention & Exhibition Center. Attending for the fifth year running, the company showed bus wiper systems at Booth 1B02.

The factory is the exhibit
The Wenzhou expo was the first automotive parts fair in China to hold UFI certification, and five editions in, its purpose has stopped moving: it calls itself a specialised factory show because most exhibitors are factories rather than trading companies. Distributors arrive knowing they can finish a conversation at the booth and then go look at the line that makes the part.
By this edition the fair covered 40,000 sqm with 1,800 standard booths and 1,568 exhibiting companies, double what it was four years earlier. It grows on the back of a real cluster: more than 4,000 Wenzhou automotive and motorcycle parts companies covering 12 product categories and over 5,000 series, close enough together that tooling, rubber vulcanisation, metalworking and final assembly all sit within the same city.
The 2025 edition also tried integrating the fair with local tourism, extending how long buyers stay — unusual for a domestic industry fair.
Local companies treat it as an annual gathering: peers exchange information, compare progress, and put a year’s manufacturing capability in front of outsiders.
That structure changes how purchasing decisions get made. Exhibitors are the factories, verification is a car ride away, and that transparency shifts the basis of comparison — away from the sample in your hand and towards the line that produced it, away from competing quotations and towards competing manufacturing processes. For an industry still getting tidier about how it works, that pressure runs in a useful direction.
For LEILI the home advantage shows up in one specific way. The plant sits in Pingyang, Wenzhou, under an hour from the hall, so a visitor can see parts in the morning and the production line in the afternoon without arranging anything separately — something that cannot be done when exhibiting away from home.

LEILI at Booth 1B02
A home-town fair is two things at once for this company: somewhere to win new customers, and a fixed slot in the year when existing customers come back. What stood at 1B02 was a complete supply chain rather than a selection.
Bus and coach windshield wiper systems took the largest share, with all five opposed and tandem layouts put out as complete sets. Beside them sat two-speed DC motors in 12 V and 24 V rated 30 W to 180 W, then linkage sets covering 400 mm to 2,000 mm and blades from 400 mm to 1,000 mm.
Washer systems, wiper arms and the bus door lock line ran along the outer edge — typically where returning customers head first.
LEILI holds ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 certification, supplies OE programmes to a number of vehicle manufacturers, and exports to Southeast Asia, Europe, South America and North America.
What visitors asked
Conversations moved faster this year than in previous editions, and the change was mostly on the buyers’ side of the table.
A good number arrived having already done their research. They sat down and asked about parameters, process and lead time. The introduction stage was skipped entirely — the discussion began inside delivery details, which means a factory has to be ready to answer specific questions the moment someone pulls a chair up.
The second change was in the brief itself. With battery-electric coaches and driver assistance becoming ordinary, wiper systems now have to cover larger curved glass, keep camera monitoring areas clear, and run quieter than before. What customers hand over is no longer a list of part numbers; it is a set of constraints. Working from constraints takes longer and produces better specifications, provided both sides are willing to do it the slow way.
Turning up every fifth year clarified what continuous attendance is worth. The call-back mechanism built over previous editions has started doing real work: annual supply arrangements with existing customers can be settled on the spot. The fair is shifting from somewhere you find new customers to a checkpoint where projects move.
No delegation came from outside the Yangtze Delta, and nobody signed an order at the stand. Year five earned its keep differently: the call-backs. Customers from editions one to four now arrive to settle the year’s supply, and the neighbours walking past know exactly what we are running — which is the point of turning up five years in a row.
Reach of the expo
Professional visitor numbers grew further over the previous edition. Alongside companies from the Yangtze Delta industrial belt, buyer delegations arrived from a number of overseas countries and regions.
Earlier reports cover the previous edition in 2024 and, since then, the sixth edition in 2026. The last stop on LEILI’s 2025 calendar was Automechanika Shanghai in November 2025.
Closing
Annual cooperation agreements with existing customers are moving into their delivery phase. Electric coaches and driver-assistance packages keep asking for the same three things: wider coverage on curved glass, clear camera areas, less noise. All three go into the next development cycle.
Yang Hao, spokesperson for Zhejiang Leili Auto Parts Co., Ltd., said: “At the fifth edition, the thing that struck us most is how professional the visitors have become. They read up before they arrive, then sit down and ask about parameters, about process, about lead time. For a factory making careful products that change is welcome, because the time saved can go to the questions that actually need answering.”
