It is a coordinated chain of five components \u2014 blade, arm, motor, linkage, and washer \u2014 and when any one of them drifts, the entire system underperforms. Most people only ever see the rubber, so most people only ever replace the rubber. The carrier&#8217;s job is simple and unforgiving: keep the rubber lip at a consistent angle against the glass, across the full length of the blade.<\/p>\n<p>Blade length matters more than most buyers realize. Too long, and the blade overhangs or collides with the trim; too short, and it leaves an unwiped band in the driver&#8217;s sight line. Too little, and the blade lifts off the glass at speed \u2014 the classic &#8220;skipping at 70 mph&#8221; complaint. Too much, and the blade drags, overheats the motor, and wears the rubber edge prematurely. The correct tension is a balance between the blade length, the glass curvature, and the vehicle&#8217;s top operating speed.<\/p>\n<p>\u652f\u67b6\u8fd8\u51b3\u5b9a\u4e86\u8fde\u63a5\u5668\u7684\u7c7b\u578b\u3002. <strong>\u6302\u94a9\u3001\u523a\u5200\u3001\u4fa7\u9500\u548c\u5939\u6263<\/strong> attachments all exist because vehicle platforms standardized on different ones. A motor&#8217;s wattage tells you how much power it draws; its torque tells you whether it can actually push a large blade through heavy snow or a dirty windshield. A wiper blade wiping a dry or contaminated windshield wears its rubber edge rapidly and chatters.
